The land of Vindhya once again made the country proud. Rewa’s talented daughter Ayushi Verma has become a lieutenant in the Indian Army, bringing glory not just to Rewa but to the entire Vindhya region. In the prestigious Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination, she secured All India Rank 24 and the first position in the country (AIR-1) in the technical branch. This proud achievement was a historic moment not only for her family but for the whole Vindhya region.

Ayushi Verma

Ayushi had her early education at a reputed convent school in Rewa, where her father worked as a teacher. A top student since childhood, she made discipline and hard work part of her way of life. While in Class 12 she resolved to join the Army and serve the nation. She began preparing for the CDS exam from that time and achieved success through sheer hard work.

Ayushi said her inspiration had been Avani Chaturvedi, also a daughter of Vindhya and the country’s first woman fighter pilot. Like Avani, she dreamed of serving the country and worked day and night to fulfil it. Her family always stood by her. Her elder brother was also an SSB candidate but could not join the Army for medical reasons. Even so, he boosted his sister’s morale and guided her at every step.

On her success, Ayushi said: “If the goal is clear and the effort honest, no destination is far.” Her spirit became an inspiration for thousands of young people.

Ayushi’s achievement brought a wave of joy across Rewa and the Vindhya region. Family, relatives, teachers and well-wishers poured in congratulations. People on social media also praised her success and called her a role model for the new generation.

Rewa’s Ayushi Verma proved that daughters are not behind in any field. Her success was expected to give new wings to the confidence of the daughters of Vindhya and also to send a message to coming generations that however big the dreams, they could be realised through hard work and strong willpower.
