On the occasion he said the state government stood with all those affected in times of disaster. This difficult time was overcome with the cooperation of society, administrative officers and the disaster teams of the SDRF, NDRF and the Army. He said service to people was service to God. He said that through the prompt action of district administrations and disaster management teams, loss of life was brought under control. Dr Yadav said Union ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Jyotiraditya Scindia, along with state ministers, MLAs and MPs, stayed in contact with one another during this period and worked to save lives and deliver relief.<\/p>\n
