Abhiram Mishra, working as Assistant Grade-3, was alleged to have devised a scheme to save his job, one that could have caused a stir from the city to the state secretariat.

How the alleged forgery worked

According to sources, Abhiram Mishra got his job on compassionate appointment, but under the rules he had to pass the CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) to complete his probation period. To obtain this certificate, Mishra allegedly flouted the law outright.

He was reportedly himself posted in the establishment branch and, taking advantage of that position, was said to have prepared a fake CPCT marksheet. He submitted this forged document as proof of completing his probation period.

Suspicion and the truth

When suspicion arose over the submitted marksheet, Collector Pratibha Pal, considering the seriousness of the matter, wrote to MPSEDC to get it verified. The facts that came back by both post and email were startling. It was clearly stated that “Abhiram Mishra has failed the CPCT exam and the marksheet he submitted is completely forged.”

Suppressing key information

The most important question then was why, when the truth was so clear, this serious information had not immediately been passed to senior officials. Was someone involved in hushing up the matter? Was there a network active inside the Collectorate that shielded such forgeries?

Eyes on the Collector

Collector Pratibha Pal was known for her strict working style and integrity. People hoped that firm action would be taken against the guilty.

After all the details came to light, Collector Pratibha Pal said clearly, “No laxity will be tolerated in such cases; strict action will be taken against the guilty and the entire matter will be thoroughly investigated.”

Questions in the public mind

Would a criminal case be registered against Abhiram Mishra?

Would the names of others involved in preparing the forged document come out?

Was the Collectorate’s internal machinery encouraging such scams?

This Rewa case was not merely about one employee’s forgery; it raised a deep question over the functioning and transparency of the entire administrative system. In the coming days it would be interesting to see whether the guilty would actually be punished or whether this too would end up buried in files like many other cases.

[5

post-517","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-rewa-news
["GET
