Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav reviewed the Har Ghar Tiranga and Har Ghar Swachhta (cleanliness) campaigns by video conference. He directed officials to implement both campaigns effectively and to run the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with full vigour until Independence Day on 15 August. He also asked them to prepare for the Janmashtami festival. Officials were told to compile and properly document the stories of the district\u2019s immortal freedom fighters and martyrs. At Independence Day functions, the achievements and development stories of the district, along with those of the state, were to be taken to the public. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Independence Day celebrations were to be marked with full enthusiasm across the state.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said special attention should also be paid to establishing new industries in districts and to employment-oriented work. Employment fairs were to be organised effectively so that youth benefited through various schemes and programmes. The crop insurance amount was being released into farmers\u2019 bank accounts, and this too was to be publicised properly. A survey of crop losses from floods and excessive rain was to be conducted immediately and relief money released to those affected.<\/p>\n

In the video conference, the Chief Minister took information from divisional commissioners and collectors about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Commissioner B.S. Jamod said programmes were being held in urban and rural areas under the campaign. Events such as poster, essay and speech competitions and Tiranga rallies were being held continuously in educational institutions. A Tiranga cycle rally was to be taken out in all districts of the division on 12 August, and a Tiranga Yatra and a marathon for cleanliness were being organised on 13 August. Department-wise details of activities under the campaign were presented. Commissioner and other officials took part from the NIC office of the Commissioner\u2019s office, while Collector Pratibha Pal, Additional Collector Sapna Tripathi and other officials joined from the NIC centre at the Collectorate.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
