A tiranga yatra was held in Mangawan to honour soldiers and martyrs and to carry the message of Har Ghar Tiranga, Har Ghar Swachhta, an effort under way across the country under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

However, former MLA Dr Panchu Lal Prajapati and then-sitting MLA Engineer Narendra Prajapati, who had been strong opponents of each other, were seen together at the event. The report said it appeared this was planned: Dr Panchu Lal Prajapati wore a tricolour cap, and the two men\u2019s jackets were the same colour. The report said everything was fair in politics. It noted that Dr Panchu Lal Prajapati was an original BJP worker who had been taught politics by the late Dada Maniraj Singh, who brought him into politics; he contested from Deotalab assembly seat and was elected. After Deotalab was freed from reservation, Mangawan was reserved, which the report said took over the seats of the late Kumar Arjun Singh and the late Shriyut Sriniwas Tiwari, once bitter rivals. After the reservation, the report said, people began to feel the constituency\u2019s existence had ended and the wheel of development had stopped there.<\/p>\n

Even so, in 2008 the BJP gave a ticket to Panchu Lal\u2019s wife, Panna Bai, who became MLA. In the 2013 assembly election the BJP again fielded Panna Bai, who lost by a narrow margin of 274 votes, and BSP candidate Sheela Tyagi became MLA. In 2018 the BJP gave the ticket to Dr Panchu Lal, who defeated Congress\u2019s Babita Saket by about 16,000 votes and became MLA. Until then everything was fine in the BJP, the report said, but in the 2023 assembly election Panchu Lal had to pay for his past actions, in the report\u2019s words, and was denied the ticket. After the BJP named Engineer Narendra Prajapati, described as the RSS\u2019s face, as its official candidate, opposition began. Despite considerable internal sabotage, Narendra Prajapati defeated Congress\u2019s Babita Saket by 32,000 votes and reached the assembly. Even after nearly two years, the election rivalry continued, and Dr Panchu Lal Prajapati was a strong opponent who also used to speak ill of him, the report said.<\/p>\n

As the tiranga rally in Mangawan was drawing to a close, former MLA Dr Panchu Lal Prajapati suddenly arrived at the venue in changed attire. Setting aside all grievances, the two asked after each other. The report said that a wound of the heart showed somewhere, and that what came out that day was a private political discussion between the current and former MLAs sitting together on one stage, which became a topic in political circles. It added that SDM Sanjay Jain worked to bring together the scattered BJP in this event. The report said Panchu Lal\u2019s supporters, who earlier did not attend any of MLA Narendra Prajapati\u2019s events, spoke in parliamentary language that day. It also said some audio clips with abuse had gone viral earlier. Whatever the compulsion, the report said, supporters of Panchu Lal Prajapati also joined the rally and the former MLA sat with the current MLA, and it said this was what it meant when it was said that everything was fair in politics: they remained opponents to show the public, and sat together at night to plan strategy, which it claimed the tiranga rally had proved.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
