The government had given education the highest priority, and all necessary resources would be arranged to provide quality education to students. Sihawal MLA Vishwamitra Pathak expressed these views at a free bicycle distribution programme for students at High School Sahuar.<\/p>\n

A cycle distribution programme was held at Government High School Sahuar in the Sihawal assembly constituency with MLA Vishwamitra Pathak as chief guest. The programme began with the lighting of a lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati, followed by a welcome song by the school\u2019s girl students. School principal Rakesh Dhar Dwivedi informed students about the bicycles being distributed.<\/p>\n

In his address, chief guest MLA Vishwamitra Pathak said the state and central governments ran schemes in education, including mid-day meals, uniforms, textbook distribution, bicycle distribution, scholarships, and laptops and scooters for meritorious students, so that students could easily get quality education. Providing bicycles to students who came from far away would help them travel to and from school. Earlier, most girls used to drop out midway because the school was far away, but now bicycles and easier transport would help their studies. The MLA said Sahuar village had always been a leader in education and social work, and he hoped students of this school would make their own and the school\u2019s name shine not only in the district but in the state. The chief guest said a road for the school had already been sanctioned and assured that a boundary wall would be built. He honoured senior citizens and educationists with shawls and coconuts<\/p>\n

and also planted saplings on the school premises under the \u2018Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam\u2019 campaign. The school family honoured the chief guest with a memento.<\/p>\n

Among those present were sarpanch Varun Dwivedi, BEO Sukhdev Singh, principals Shivarchan Shukla and Rakesh Dhar Dwivedi, SDO Arun Dwivedi, APO Shashikant Tiwari, BPO Rajendra Dwivedi, Ramapati Shukla, Sureshkant Dwivedi, Sudhanshu Dwivedi, Setband Dwivedi, Dev Sharan Sahu, Munendra Dwivedi, Ujagir Dwivedi, Pranpati Sahu, Thakur Prasad Dwivedi, Siyaram Sahu, teachers, guardians, students and dignitaries.<\/p>\n
