The state and central governments had given education the highest priority, and all necessary arrangements would be made to provide students with quality education. Holistic development was possible only through education. Sihawal MLA Vishwamitra Pathak expressed these views at a programme distributing free bicycles to students in schools.<\/p>\n

Bicycle distribution programmes were held under the chief guestship of Sihawal MLA Vishwamitra Pathak at Government PM Higher Secondary School Hatwa Khas, Government Higher Secondary School Sonvarsha, High School Kunjhun Kala and PM Shri Government Higher Secondary School Khuteli in the Sihawal assembly constituency. The programmes began with the lighting of a lamp before the image of Goddess Saraswati, followed by a welcome song by the schoolgirls. School principals informed the girls about the bicycles being distributed.<\/p>\n

In his address, chief guest Pathak said the state and central governments\u2019 education schemes, including mid-day meals, uniforms, textbook distribution, bicycle distribution, scholarships, and laptops and scooters for meritorious students, as well as help for poor students to study abroad, were meant to make quality education easily available. Bicycles would help students who came from far away to travel to and from school. Earlier, most girls dropped out midway because the school was far away, but with bicycles time would be saved and studying would be easier. The MLA said he hoped students of these schools would make their own and their schools\u2019 names shine not only in the district but across the state. The chief guest assured that the necessary boundary walls, repairs and other construction work would be carried out for the schools. At PM Shri School Hatwa Khas, he inaugurated a digital board by cutting a ribbon. He also planted a sapling in the school premises under the \u2018Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam\u2019 campaign. The school presented him with a memento.<\/p>\n
