A memorandum addressed to the Collector of Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh, was submitted through the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jaisinghnagar, making demands on the following points.<\/p>\n

Memorandum submitted in the name of the Collector<\/h3>\n

1. On 11 August 2025, Devwati Singh, daughter of Biharilal Singh, a resident of Kannadi Khurd, was admitted to the Civil Hospital, Jaisinghnagar, in labour. She was accompanied by relatives including Hetram Singh, son of Ganga Singh, of village Tetka; Bihari, son of Dadu Ram Singh Gond, of village Kannadi; and Smt. Munni Bai, wife of Ganga Singh, of village Tetka. On 12 August 2025 at 11 pm, Block Medical Officer Dr Anand Singh Patel, posted at the Civil Hospital, Jaisinghnagar, allegedly arrived drunk with five or six associates and assaulted and abused the patient\u2019s relatives inside the hospital. The victims complained at Jaisinghnagar police station; when no action was taken, a written complaint was made to the Superintendent of Police, Shahdol, on 14 August 2025, but no action had been taken as of the memorandum. The memorandum demanded an inquiry and action, and that Dr Anand Singh Patel, described as being of criminal tendencies, be removed from the post of Block Medical Officer.<\/p>\n

2. It demanded that Raj Pathak, a resident of Amjhor under Jaisinghnagar police station, accused of assaulting and robbing Devraj Singh Gun, a resident of village Lafari, on 11 August 2025, be arrested immediately and sent to jail.<\/p>\n

3. Urea was not being supplied at cooperative centres across the district. There was a possibility of widespread commission-taking and black-marketing in urea supply, because of which urea was not reaching farmers. Thousands of farmers were seen struggling in queues at cooperative centres from 6 am to 7 pm for fertiliser. The memorandum demanded that the supply and distribution system be put in order so that farmers could get urea easily and at fair prices.<\/p>\n

Those present during the submission of the memorandum included Tiru Vijay Singh Parste, state secretary; Tiru Ajay Singh Pendro, district president of the youth wing; Tiru Deepak Singh Parste, acting district president of the youth wing; Tiru Ramraj Kushwaha, district executive member; Tiru Dayaram Oladi, block in-charge, Jaisinghnagar; Tiru Mrigendra Singh Parste, block president of the youth wing, Gohparu; Tiru Mithlesh Singh Marko; Tiru Nandlal Shah Otia, social worker; Ramchandra Singh, sarpanch of Lapri; Pushpendra Uikey, social worker; Ramkhelawan Singh Otia; Hiralal Singh Otia, social worker; Amartalal Singh Uikey, sarpanch of Basnagri; Ramlakhan Kushwaha; Dashrath Singh Otia; Premchandra Singh Otia; Mehlal Singh Otia; Suresh Singh Shyam; Shibbu Singh Shyam; Suman Singh Shyam; Chandraprakash Singh Shyam; Udaybhan Singh Uikey; Poonam Singh; Sangeeta Singh; and Indrabati Singh.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
