The Forest Department seized the vehicle carrying the wood and took up the matter for investigation. The driver was asked for documents related to transporting the wood. An online TP was found with the driver, showing the permit date and validity both as 19 August 2025. On checking the TP online, it was found to have been issued for vehicle number UP 71 AT 1067 on 13 June 2025 with validity till 15 June 2025. As the TP was found invalid, seizure action was taken as per rules and a case registered. The Forest Department said it would file an FIR against whoever issued the forged TP. Commendable roles in the action were played by A.K.
