According to information, Tipu was brought to Mukundpur Tiger Reserve from the National Zoological Park, New Delhi, in 2023. He had been continuously ill for the previous three months, and his condition had worsened over the previous week. He finally breathed his last at 1:54 pm on Tuesday.

The medical team preserved samples of the tiger’s internal organs during the postmortem. After the autopsy, the white tiger was cremated in the presence of senior officials.

Chief Conservator Rajesh Kumar Roy said:

Tipu had been ill for a long time. Despite medical care, his condition did not improve. The postmortem made it clear that his kidneys had been failing for a long time, which led to his death.

It was worth noting that after the death of this white tiger of the Maharaja Martand Singh Judev White Tiger Safari, only three white tigers, Raghu, Sonam and Mohan, remained at Mukundpur Tiger Reserve.
