Anjali Singh was to get free JEE coaching under Aakanksha Yojana
Anjali Singh of Kudri village in Shahdol district, who passed Class 10 and cleared the selection test, was to get free JEE coaching in Bhopal under the Madhya Pradesh government’s Aakanksha Yojana.
Education was extremely important in the modern age, and it opened the way into every field. The central and state governments ran various schemes to remove obstacles in students’ education. The Madhya Pradesh government was committed to helping even the poorest students of every section realise their dreams. It provided free uniforms, bicycles, study materials and other basic facilities. One such scheme was the Aakanksha Yojana, under which talented students from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities were given free preparation for competitive examinations. Anjali Singh, daughter of Nepal Singh and a resident of Kudri village in Sohagpur tehsil of Shahdol district, passed the Class 10 examination at the Government Raghuraj Higher Secondary School at the district headquarters. She applied for JEE coaching under the Aakanksha Yojana and passed the selection test. Anjali said her family’s financial condition was not good, so she could not have gone out for coaching at her own expense. Thanks to the state government’s schemes, she got the opportunity for free JEE coaching in Bhopal under the Aakanksha Yojana. She thanked Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav for giving wings to her dreams.
