Mauganj BJP MLA urged Railway Minister to approve Rewa–Mirzapur rail line
Mauganj MLA Pradeep Patel wrote to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw seeking quick approval and start of construction of the Rewa–Mirzapur line, citing industrial growth in the region.
Mauganj BJP MLA Pradeep Patel asked Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister, Ministry of Railways, Government of India, New Delhi, to grant quick approval to the Rewa–Mirzapur railway line and begin its construction. The MLA said that large industrial projects such as Baba Ramdev’s, along with several other big industries, were being established, so Mauganj was moving towards rapid industrial development, but the area was deprived of a basic facility like rail, causing serious problems for travel, trade, education, health and industrial activity. In his letter, the Mauganj MLA said the Rewa–Mirzapur railway line should be quickly approved and construction started, so that public sentiment in the region would be respected and industrial development would get a new direction.
