Not just the public: the problems of the district’s police personnel were also to be resolved quickly. Shahdol Superintendent of Police Ramji Srivastava took another commendable step by introducing a special QR code system for about 950 police personnel. Through it, personnel from constables to station in-charges could register their problems confidentially. Whether the issue concerned pay, allowances, duty or anything else, everything would be recorded online and resolved promptly. Problems registered through the QR code would not only be assessed but immediate steps would be taken to address them. Notably, after lodging a complaint, personnel would also receive an online acknowledgement. Pay, allowances and other personal and departmental difficulties would now reach the SP office directly through this system.

Earlier, SP Ramji Srivastava had issued a QR code for the safety and problems of ordinary citizens and female students, which produced excellent results. The same arrangement was now introduced within the police department. The initiative was widely praised across the district and seen as a historic step for the police force, as it was the first time in Shahdol that personnel had been given such a facility.

SP Srivastava said a QR code had been issued from the Superintendent of Police’s office to resolve personal problems of the roughly 950 police personnel posted in Shahdol district. By scanning it, personnel could register problems related to pay, allowances or other matters, which would be addressed. They had been given the facility to register them directly and confidentially.
